Executive Keynote Deck Design for Oracle AI World

Challenge

Oracle was preparing for AI World 2025, a high-visibility industry event featuring executive-level keynote presentations. With aggressive timelines, Oracle needed experienced design support to transform complex content into polished, cohesive keynote decks for delivery by senior executives. Having worked with Nayamode years earlier, Oracle returned seeking the same caliber of design expertise and team continuity they trusted in the past.

Solution

The Nayamode team provided rapid-turn, presentation design support for two executive vice president keynote presentations, each with significant slide volume and ongoing content iteration.

  • Designed and built two large-scale keynote decks under compressed timelines
  • Created visual cohesion across both decks while tailoring each presentation to its respective executive speaker
  • Translated dense, technical AI database concepts into clear, visually engaging slides
  • Developed and refined complex diagrams, visual builds, and architecture layouts to support executive storytelling
  • Worked flexibly alongside Oracle stakeholders as content continued to evolve late into the process

Throughout the engagement, Nayamode operated as a trusted extension of Oracle’s team, balancing speed, precision, and executive polish.

Impact

  • Enabled Oracle executives to deliver high-impact, professional keynote presentations at a major industry AI event
  • Successfully met tight deadlines despite ongoing content changes and large slide volumes
  • Reinforced Oracle’s confidence in Nayamode’s design team, leading to renewed engagement after a five-year gap
  • Helped re-establish Nayamode as a go-to partner for Oracle presentation and design work, opening the door to additional follow-on projects

Thank you.

Last year, Microsoft announced that the Internet Explorer 11 desktop app would be retired in June 2022 after 25 years in the market.  Many commercial customers have old internal apps built on IE so it was imperative for these customers to complete the migration to Microsoft Edge with IE-mode before retirement, otherwise they could face a work stoppage. To ensure a successful retirement of IE11, driving awareness of the retirement date with the commercial audience and driving action was critical. The overarching goal was to successfully move IE users to Microsoft Edge without disruption and deliver a faster, more secure, and modern browsing experience than Internet Explorer.

The Edge Commercial GTM team turned to Nayamode to help manage paid social media campaigns that were designed to amplify the message and drive action.  A mid-funnel paid media campaign was run across social media and display ad platforms. Nayamode supported the campaign with ad placement, performance tracking, and reporting and also worked with the team on development of ads to drive the “urgency” message.

It was also critical that IT Pros were given tools to successfully transition to Edge with IE mode. With Nayamode’s support, different calls to action were developed pointing to different tools as the campaign progressed.  The campaign exceeded performance targets. The campaign will wrap up in June prior to the June 15, 2022 retirement date.  Nayamode is proud to support this important initiative for Microsoft.

In early 2021, Microsoft’s Surface Accessories group wanted expertise to manage the lifecycle strategy for a new Surface accessory product in development. They turned to Nayamode who assigned Matt Rollins as a business planner and analyst.

To manage the lifecycle and develop strategy, Matt mined information from disparate groups while breaking down information silos and facilitating the team to work as one. The work deliverables included a business opportunity analysis, modeling of lifetime volumes, and then a complete launch-wave strategy.

Leading up to the conclusion of the project, the data curating and modeling efforts gave visibility to data that led to impactful decisions. Matt and Nayamode delivered the keys to success also by being totally invested in cross-functional collaboration and remaining customer obsessed.

Switching direction for a major program is not an easy decision for any business; never mind at the 11th hour. Sometimes it’s not even possible, although it may be necessary.

Nayamode was called upon by a major video-gaming entity to manage preparations to take part in a yearly industry event. Pattie MacCool, program manager from Nayamode, was creating major workstreams and workback schedules for her teams when she was directed to change direction.

Rather than taking part in the current event, the company wanted to host their own event. The timeline would be very similar and much reassessing of budgets, schedules, resources had to be done quickly.

Tight deadlines, unknown variables, the search for a venue and all that comes with a major industry event were grounded quickly. Pattie’s approach gained the immediate buy-in of senior-level managers. By applying her experience to see things a little differently, she was able to preserve the momentum and deliver the desired outcome.

When asked what programs she likes best, Pattie replied, “I like the working the projects where it’s not obvious what needs to be done next. Often clients are so busy with their business that they may not see the nuances that could really make a difference.”

Global Sales Enablement Portals & Content Operations

Microsoft sellers rely on centralized portals to access the right sales, marketing, and enablement content at the right time. Over time, content sprawl, platform changes, inconsistent tagging, and outdated materials made it difficult for sellers to find what they needed quickly. Marketing teams also lacked clear insight into which content was driving value and which assets should be retired, creating inefficiencies across the sales ecosystem.

What Nayamode Did and How

Nayamode took ownership of Microsoft’s global field sales portals, serving as both content operations lead and platform steward across multiple generations of technology (SharePoint, Microsoft-built platforms, and third-party solutions like Seismic). The team:

  • Managed end-to-end content intake, QA, tagging, publishing, and governance for seller-facing assets
  • Ensured compliance with quality, accessibility, and brand standards before content went live
  • Partnered with marketing teams to organize content in ways that aligned with real seller workflows
  • Provided usage reporting and performance insights, identifying which assets were effective and which should be retired
  • Reduced noise by proactively removing low-performing or outdated content and elevating high-value resources

Results / Benefits

  • Improved seller efficiency by making critical content easier to discover and use
  • Gave marketing teams data-driven insights to guide future content investments
  • Reduced system clutter and improved overall content quality across sales portals
  • Supported Microsoft sellers globally with a more streamlined, usable enablement experience
  • Established long-term operational continuity despite platform changes over time

Streamlining Marketing Sample Operations

Client: Microsoft Surface Marketing (Launch Readiness & Pre-Launch Samples)

Challenge

The Surface marketing samples catalog and pre-launch PO process were decentralized, creating confusion for internal Microsoft teams about where and how to order launch devices for marketing use. Inaccurate SKUs, outdated inventory, and inconsistent tenting (confidentiality) procedures caused delays before product launches.

Solution

Nayamode managed the end-to-end PO creation process for Surface pre-launch samples—verifying pricing with finance, correcting data errors, and ensuring compliance across global markets. We also maintained and optimized the Surface Marketing Samples Catalog in ProcureWeb, ensuring discontinued SKUs were removed and new ones added.

Impact

Our work ensured smooth launches by maintaining SKU integrity and preventing improper purchases, reducing internal procurement errors. Nayamode’s management of launch readiness data and certification reporting enabled timely go-to-market execution for global Surface releases.

Scaling the Pre-Launch Sample (PLS) Program

Client: Microsoft Surface (Commercial & Consumer Launch Operations)

Challenge

Microsoft’s PLS process was entirely manual, managed through Excel spreadsheets that tracked SKUs, configurations, and pricing across hundreds of product variations. This created errors, inconsistent reporting, and inefficiencies during device launches.

Solution

Nayamode led the transformation of PLS operations, designing and implementing a centralized digital PLS Request Tool- an automated platform where stakeholders could place and track sample orders through a standardized interface. Nayamode also built the PLS Portal, a documentation hub and training library supporting global teams.

Impact

The new system standardized and scaled pre-launch operations across multiple Surface divisions, reducing manual reporting hours and virtually eliminating processing errors. The Nayamode team achieved an error rate near zero in order accuracy and timing, while supporting launches delivering up to 33,000 devices.

Optimizing Microsoft’s Digital Asset Infrastructure

Client: Microsoft Marketing Technology (MarTech)

Challenge

Microsoft’s MarTech ecosystem relied on disparate systems for managing videos and marketing assets, leading to duplicate processes, inconsistent tagging, and limited cross-team visibility.

Solution

Nayamode provided technical program management for both platforms, driving tool integration, taxonomy updates, and metadata standardization. We manage the corporate taxonomy refresh process, ensuring all assets are retagged and mapped to updated metadata structures every year.

Impact

Metadata management and platform integration has enabled Microsoft to streamline digital asset discovery and improve analytics tracking for marketing campaigns. Our work supports thousands of assets used across email, web, and video channels globally.

Driving Operational Efficiency in Surface Commercial GTM

Client: Microsoft Surface Commercial Devices Go-to-Market

Challenge

The Surface Commercial GTM team needed more operational support to ensure pricing, discount, and product data accuracy during Surface product launches. Manual processes and layoffs created knowledge gaps and increased workloads on FTEs.

Solution

Nayamode managed pricing list accuracy and partner discounts, ensuring that all Surface commercial partners received correct launch pricing. Our consultants began building Power BI reports to visualize discount trends and sales performance and took on project management responsibilities to modernize internal tools.

Impact

Nayamode’s analytical and operational rigor helped maintain flawless pricing execution for global Surface partners, while introducing automation and reporting improvements that provided leadership with better visibility into pricing effectiveness.

Enterprise Software Trials Program Management

Enterprise and public-sector customers evaluating Microsoft products often face challenges with standard software trials. Default trials are typically too short, too small in scale, and lack the flexibility needed for complex IT environments, regulated industries, or long decision-making cycles. Without the ability to properly evaluate products—especially newer, highly innovative solutions like Copilot—customers struggled to confidently move forward with purchase decisions. At the same time, Microsoft needed to control costs, ensure compliance, and prevent misuse of trials as a form of discounting.

What Nayamode Did and How

Nayamode partnered closely with Microsoft marketing, finance, business planning, and the global sales field to design, manage, and govern a scalable enterprise trials program. Acting as a strategic intermediary, the Nayamode team:

  • Assessed each sales opportunity to determine the appropriate trial length, size, and configuration, aligning it with documented sales progress, forecasted close dates, and deal value
  • “Right-sized” trials post-activation to support complex customer environments, including extended timelines (e.g., 120–180 days) and larger user counts
  • Established governance and validation processes to ensure trials were used appropriately and compliantly
  • Coordinated with internal enablement and FastTrack teams to support adoption without overstepping seller ownership
  • Rapidly mobilized the trials infrastructure to support humanitarian and crisis response efforts, including disaster recovery, geopolitical emergencies, and large-scale remote work enablement

Results / Benefits

  • Enabled customers to experience products in their real environments, increasing confidence and accelerating purchasing decisions
  • Supported thousands of trials globally across industries, including government and highly regulated sectors
  • Protected Microsoft from revenue leakage, legal risk, and trial abuse while still empowering sellers to close deals
  • Played a critical role in the successful market adoption of newer solutions like Copilot
  • Provided a fast, scalable licensing mechanism during global crises, supporting business continuity and humanitarian initiatives
